THE PRACTICE was established in June 1979 following Stewart Pearl's extensive career covering a wide spectrum of project type and value, from minor to major works, both home and abroad and both Client and Contracting side. Using bespoke computer software coupled with talented staff, enables SPA to bat well above our size, and whilst keeping that personal touch, can compete with the larger practices. Services are offered nationwide, individually or as an integrated group of professional packages. Our ethos is to provide all Clients a personalised professional service irrespective of the project value or scale.

ARCHITECTURE - BUILDING DESIGN with a wealth of experience, a strong passion for architecture, and not afraid to sprinkle pepper on the pineapple, we aim to analyse, develop and enhance the Client's brief. Our full service will look after and guide you from initial concept to completed build, including planning and building control submissions. Of course we do offer a partial service. We deal with new and existing works including listed buildings. Under CDM2015, the role of Principal Designer is offered within our range of professions.

QUANTITY SURVEYING from feasibility to completion and final account, our QS services look after your interest with close financial and contractual monitoring throughout, acting Client side or Contractor side (for Contactors our services are offered post tender). We still have in house skill sets to prepare Bills of Quantities as required. Supplementary roles such as Clients Agent, Fund Management, etc., form part of our capabilities.

MANAGEMENT we know the construction process to enable us to manage or coordinate a project (offered Client side). Our experience dealing with a wide range of building types and form of contracts, within the various professions, gives us confidence to propose bespoke procedures, when required, to best suite the Client's needs, and on a number of occasions, we have adopted fast track methods to meet deadline dates that otherwise would not be met.
